Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support member, an image holding body, and an image forming apparatus that can suppress vibration generated in a cylindrical body compared with a case where an outer diameter at the center in the axial direction becomes larger than an outer diameter at both ends due to a variation in the shape of products or a case where the shape of a groove part is changed in the axial direction due to a variation in the shape of products.SOLUTION: In a support member 116, an outer diameter at a portion at the center in a depth direction of the apparatus is made smaller than an outer diameter at portions at both ends in the depth direction of the apparatus. While the support member 116 is supported in the inside of a cylindrical body 108, a groove part 118 is elastically deformed, and the elastic restoring force of the portion at the center of the groove part 118 in the depth direction of the apparatus is made larger than the elastic restoring force at the portions at both ends of the groove part 118 in the depth direction of the apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
