PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch control device which, if accesses are concentrated to a terminal connected to a switch, can prevent an increased number of flow entries set to the switch.SOLUTION: Flow entry set means 52 sets to a relay switch a flow entry which prescribes that a packet, having a destination address which corresponds to a subnetwork address supported by a gateway switch, shall be transferred to the gateway switch. Also, flow entry set means 52, on receiving a packet from the gateway switch, sets to the gateway switch a flow entry which prescribes to transfer a packet, having a terminal thereof as a transmission source, and a destination address which corresponds to the subnetwork address supported by the gateway switch, to the relay switch, for each gateway switch other than the gateway switch concerned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
