PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutoff tool configured so that the tool can easily reach an electric cable to be cut off, risks that an operator may be hurt are reduced and potential damage to the tool is limited.SOLUTION: A cutoff system 1 comprises: a pump 3 that is adapted to increase pressure of hydraulic fluid; a processing head 4 that can be positioned at an interval from the pump and has two jaws for executing cutoff; a flexible pressure tube 7 connected between the pump and the processing head; a portable remote control device 8 for operating and controlling the pump remotely; a cutoff detector 9 for detecting completion of the cutoff; operation communicating means 10 adapted to provide a pump operation signal from the remote control device to the pump; cutoff confirmation communicating means 11 adapted to provide information on the completion of the cutoff from the cutoff detector to a user. The operation communicating means comprises a wireless communication unit and the cutoff confirmation communicating means comprises a wireless connection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
