Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for electronic patient care which has a hub configured to monitor a patient care device.SOLUTION: An electronic patient care system 100 comprises: one or a plurality of monitor clients 1, 4 capable of being allocated to individual patients 2 physically closely; and a remote monitor server 3 uploading information from several various monitor clients 1, 4 and downloading information and indications from various sources to the monitor clients 1, 4. In a patient's room, a health care provider can interact directly with the monitor client 1 so as to obtain information associated with a patient 2 or to input indications associated with the patient 2. Many monitor clients 1 can interact with a single monitor server 3. The monitor server 3 can comprise middleware.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
