Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen-generating catalyst which hardly reduces its catalytic performance for a long period of time and has longer operating life, and to provide a system for enhancing energy efficiency of various devices by using hydrogen generated by the hydrogen-generating catalyst.SOLUTION: The hydrogen-generating catalyst generates a reformed gas containing hydrogen by making a fuel react with water vapor. The hydrogen-generating catalyst contains aluminum oxide, a first catalyst component containing at least one component selected from the group consisting of platinum, rhodium, palladium and nickel, which is carried by the aluminum oxide, and a second catalyst component containing phosphorus carried by the aluminum oxide.
