Abstract:
To provide a system for managing space and seats available for use by passengers in a passenger transporting system.SOLUTION: There is provided a system for managing space and seats available for use by passengers in a passenger transporting system including at least one train (T) provided with a plurality of cars (C), each car including a corresponding prescribed number of seats (S). This system includes: sensors (CAM, SS2) for detecting an occupancy state of the space available for use by passengers; a processor (ECU) for managing the space available for use by passengers; and a display device (D) for displaying an available state of a free space for passengers and capable of signalling the available state of the free space for passengers or signalling an unavailable state for the free space for passengers in relation to each prescribed section of the train (T) in a first signalling mode or second signalling mode different from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
