Abstract:
To provide a tape splicing device enabling splice operation for directly connecting a tape delivered from one tape reel with a tape of the other tape reel while continuing sticking of a tape to a traveling continuous sheet.SOLUTION: The tape splicing device includes a splice unit 8 which connects a traveling first tape 2A with a starting end part of a second tape 2B and further performs a first splice operation for cutting the first tape 2A delivered from a first tape reel 3A. The splice unit 8 includes: a first splice roller 21A capable of moving between a standby position separated from the first tape 2A in a state where the starting end part of the second tape 2B is wound thereon and an operation position for being pressed against the first tape 2A at a holding angle so that the starting end part of the second tape 2B is brought into surface contact with the first tape 2A; and a first tape cutter 31A for cutting the first tape 2A when the first splice roller 21A is moved from the standby position to the operation position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
