Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tension application device capable of being simplified and miniaturized in configuration and a yarn winding apparatus including the device.SOLUTION: A tension application device 15 includes: a body section 70; a contact section 72 which is provided with at least a part movable with respect to the body section 70 and comes into contact with yarn running in a yarn path so as to apply tension; a driving section 74 which is provided in the body section 70 so as to move the contact section 72; and a driving force transmission mechanism 76 which transmits driving force of the driving section 74 to the contact section 72 and moves the contact section 72. In the contact section 72, an initial position is set at a position retreating from the yarn path. The driving force transmission mechanism 76 includes a conversion rate change mechanism for changing a rate for converting the driving force of the driving section 74 to a movement distance of the contact section 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
