Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a head cleaner which can sufficiently clean the surface of a fixed head.
CONSTITUTION: The head cleaner comprises a fixed head 10 arranged on a tape running path with a curvature face being provided in the breadthwise direction on the sliding face, and a rotary arm 11 having a fulcrum A at one end on the center line of the curvature face in the fixed head 10 and a cleaner member 13 located at the other end rotatably in relation to driving of a loading motor and slidingly on the curvature face of the fixed head. The rotary arm 11 comes into resilient contact with an advancing/rectracting loading base and rotates while rotating the cleaner member 13.
