Abstract:
To provide a thermal transfer system which can adequately prevent leakage of information to be confidential.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer system 10 comprises: a delivery part 11 for an ink ribbon 20; a first transfer device 14 which transfers an ink of the ink ribbon 20 to a transfer object 100 in a first pattern P1; a winding part 12 for the ink ribbon 20 of which transfer has been performed in the first pattern P1; a second transfer device 15 which transfers an ink of an ink ribbon 20 of the ink ribbons 20 wound by the winding part 12, that is positioned on an outermost periphery, to an ink ribbon 20 inside the afore-said ink ribbon 20 in a second pattern P2; a separation roller 16 which guides the ink ribbon 20 so that the ink ribbon 20, of which transfer has been performed in the second pattern P2, is separated from the ink ribbon 20 inside the same, and thereafter, is wound by the winding part 12; and an incorrect loading detection system 40 which detects incorrect loading of the ink ribbon 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12A
