Abstract:
A thread tension control device for a sewing machine is provided to maintain and control tension of thread with a predetermined value regardless of thickness, kinds, elongation property of the thread etc. A thread tension control device for a sewing machine comprises the followings: a thread tension disk winding the thread; a pulse motor(16) in which the thread tension disk is installed; an encoder unit detecting phase difference according to rotation of an output axis of the pulse motor; a driving unit(25) of the pulse motor giving a driving signal to the pulse motor; a thread tension setting up unit; a phase difference detection unit(29); and a table indicating relation with tension and rotational phase difference.
