Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress frequency of part replacement to minimum by prolonging component life of a yarn tension applying member.SOLUTION: A fixed comb tooth 65 includes a first base part 81, a first mounting part 82, a first yarn contact part 84a and a second yarn contact part 84b. The first mounting part 82 is provided at one side of the first base part 81, and it can be attached to/detached from a first mounted part 59 of a gate type yarn tension applying device. The first yarn contact part 84a and the second yarn contact part 84b are provided on the other side of the first base part 81, and they come into contact with the yarn. The first mounting part 82 is constituted so that it can be mounted on the first mounted part 59 in one state out of a first mounting state and a second mounting state in which the direction is reversed with respect to the first mounting state. The first yarn contact part 84a comes into contact with the yarn in the first mounting state. The second yarn contact part 84b comes into contact with the yarn in the second mounting state. The shape and position of the first yarn contact part 84a in the first mounting state coincides with the shape and position of the second yarn contact part 84b in the second mounting state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
