Abstract:
To suppress cost and weight and allow highly-accurate adjustment of an opening of a bypass valve.SOLUTION: A throttle device 1 comprises: a throttle valve 2 that is disposed in an intake passage 101 and includes a first valve element 20 and a first rotating shaft 21 rotatably holding the first valve element 20; a bypass valve 3 that is disposed in a bypass passage 8, which is connected to the intake passage 101 to bypass the throttle valve 2, and that includes a second valve element 30 and a second rotating shaft 31 rotatably holding the second valve element 30; a common motor 4 for giving driving force to the throttle valve 2 and the bypass valve 3; a first gear 5 configured to be able to transmit or cut off driving force of the motor 4 with respect to the first rotating shaft 21; a second gear 6 configured to receive driving force of the motor 4 and transmit the driving force to the second rotating shaft 31; and a sensor 7 for detecting an amount of rotation of the second rotating shaft 31 of the bypass valve 3 or another rotating shaft rotated in conjunction with the second rotating shaft 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
