Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rotary torque.SOLUTION: A conical roller bearing 1 is equipped with: an outer ring 2; an inner ring 3; a conical roller 4; and an annular holder 10. A lubricant can flow into between the outer ring 2 and the inner ring 3 from one side in an axial direction. The holder 10 has: a small-diameter annular portion 11 positioned between an outer ring end portion 8 on one side in an axial direction of the outer ring 2 and an inner ring end portion 5 on onside in an axial direction of the inner ring 3; and a plurality of column portions 13 provided so as to extend from the small-diameter annular portion 11 to the other side in the axial direction. The small-diameter annular portion 11 has an outer annular surface 31 opposing to an inner peripheral surface of the outer ring end portion 8 while keeping an annular clearance, and an inner annular surface 32 opposing to an outer peripheral surface of the inner ring end portion 5 while keeping an annular clearance. On the outer annular surface 31 and the inner annular surface 32, grooves 41 and 42, which have groove-shapes making the lubricant in the annular clearance flow to the one side in the axial direction when the holder 10 is rotated in one direction, are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
