Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat which can reduce a work man hour for processing a junction between a seat front member and a seat rear member, and achieve a smooth shape on the junction between the seat front member and seat rear member and a production method thereof.SOLUTION: A production method of a toilet seat 1 formed by jointing a seat front member 5 and a seat rear member 6, comprises a cutting step for cutting a junction 30 between the seat front member 5 and the seat rear member 6 with a cutting tool 70 comprising a curve-shaped cutting blade part 731 so that the shape of a treatment surface 80 of the junction 30 between the seat front member 5 and the seat rear member 6 is formed into a curve-shape in which the seat rear member 6 side becomes salient outward, in a cross section orthogonal to a direction where the junction 30 extends, thereby forming a treatment surface 80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
