Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external additive for a toner for electrostatic charge image development that is not easily detached from the surface of a toner and is not easily embedded in the toner.SOLUTION: An external additive for a toner for electrostatic charge image development of the present invention contains amorphous aluminosilicate. It is suitable that the amorphous aluminosilicate be derived from pearlite. It is also suitable that the aluminosilicate be formed of particles and the particles each have a shape including at least one corner part in its projection image. The external additive is suitably manufactured with a method including a step of performing wet pulverization of pearlite by using a media mill.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
