Abstract:
To provide a method and a tool capable of excitation of supersonic oscillation of tool almost exclusively, capable of supporting the tool at a precise position, and preventing the supersonic oscillation of the tool from becoming small by supporting, and capable of excitation of supersonic oscillation suitable for the tool.SOLUTION: The tool bar 2 having a flange 3 is produced integrally by polishing a columnar or tabular carbide rod. The tip of the tool bar 2 is electrodeposited with a diamond particle. A cylindrical piezoelectric element 5 is adhesively bonded to a rear side of the flange 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
