Abstract:
Provided is a top plate for a cooking device which can have a bright pale color while maintaining a glossy cooking surface. A top plate 1 for a cooking device is provided with: a glass substrate (2) having a cooking surface (2a) on which a cooking implement is placed and a back surface (2b) opposite from the cooking surface (2a); a first layer (3) disposed on the back surface (2b) of the glass substrate (2) and containing a first coloring pigment; and a second layer (4) disposed on the back surface (2b) of the glass substrate (2) and containing a second coloring pigment. The first layer (3) is disposed on a part of the back surface (2b) of the glass substrate (2) between the glass substrate (2) and the second layer (4). The color difference ∆E1 in the L*a*b* color system between the first layer (3) and the second layer (4) is 10 to 25.
