Abstract:
To provide a transparent thermal insulation film for a window having excellent mechanical strength and sufficient thermal insulation effect.SOLUTION: A transparent thermal insulation film for a window is a transparent thermal insulation film to be joined to a glass base material for a window. At least one surface of a base material film that permits penetration of far-infrared ray is provided with a thermal insulation layer in which hollow fine particles of a silica shell whose internal space is partitioned approximately uniformly into 68 nm or less are dispersed and, specifically, 0.07 mass% or more of the hollow fine particles of the silica shell are dispersed relative to a total solid content except for the hollow fine particles of the silica shell in the thermal insulation layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
