Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport mechanism for a material to be cleaned capable of reducing adverse effects on environment and human bodies and capable of restraining the wasteful consumption of a cleaning solvent by preventing dispersion or evaporation of the solvent from each tank storing the solvent inside.SOLUTION: A transport mechanism for a material to be cleaned comprises: a long insertion opening 12 provided on the external wall 11 covering a multi-tank type cleaning apparatus 1; and a pair of facing soft elastic material-made closing bodies 17, 18, each of which fixes one end to the opening edge of each of a pair of facing long sides 15, 16 of the insertion opening and has the other end as a free end, and which closes the insertion opening by tightly contacting the free ends mutually with each other. The transport mechanism makes it possible to transport the material to be cleaned by inserting and disposing the support rod 24 holding the material 27 to be cleaned in the cleaning apparatus in the insertion opening by elastically deforming the closing body, and by moving the support rod automatically or manually from the outside of the external wall in the long side direction of the insertion opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
