Abstract:
A transport system for printed print material in a print material processing machine comprises a number of signal encoders linked to an evaluation unit (26) for stepwise sampling of the signals from the encoders (38). The evaluation unit detects active and passive encoders from amongst the encoders and generates a drive signal based on the amplitude variation of the active and passive encoders. The invention also relates to a corresponding print mechanism and print machine. An Independent claim is made for a method for producing a drive signal for a print material processing machine.
