Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for waste oil treatment or the like capable of decomposing phosphate ester contained in a waste oil and extracting phosphorous compound from an oil phase.SOLUTION: There are provided a method for waste oil treatment or the like having a mix process of mixing waste oil containing phosphate ester and aqueous sodium hydroxide solution at 70°C or more to obtain a mixture with concentration of sodium hydroxide in the aqueous sodium hydroxide solution of over 15 mass% and the mixing is conducted with molar ratio of the amount of sodium hydroxide to the amount of phosphorous of 3 or more in the mix process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
