Abstract:
To provide a string knotting device which can appropriately apply a bowknot to a workpiece by using a robot arm.SOLUTION: A string knotting device automatically applies a bowknot having a first loop CF1, a second loop CF2 and a knot BF, after carrying out string-binding, to a workpiece. The string knotting device has a first robot arm 60, a second robot arm 70, and a control unit 10 which controls operation of the first robot arm 60 and the second robot arm 70. The control unit 10 makes the first robot arm 60 form the first loop CF1, makes the first robot arm 60 and/or the second robot arm 70 form a temporary loop CT, and applies the bowknot to the workpiece, by pulling a string part of a string body becoming the second loop CF2 through the inside of the temporary loop CT, with a hand part 72 of the second robot arm 70 passing through the inside of the temporary loop CT.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
