Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic actuator capable of adjusting a preload with a simple structure using only a stator and an actuator and having a structure suitable for miniaturization and generating practically usable torque.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: In an ultrasonic actuator including: a stator having an ultrasonic wave generator formed of a piezoelectric material; an actuator hole penetrating through the stator; and a columnar actuator inserted through the actuator hole, a part or the whole of the actuator is constituted by an elastic piece capable of enlarging diameter, and abuts against the inner surface of the actuator hole in a biased state. Therefore, torque that can be put into practical use can be generated even in a small size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
