Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic transducer having air bubbles uniformly scattered in a joint material filled in narrow grooves, and to provide an ultrasonic probe and an ultrasonic imaging apparatus including the ultrasonic transducer.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transducer comprises: a piezoelectric body; grooves which partition the piezoelectric body into elements; and a joint material which is filled in the grooves. The joint material includes air bubbles, and average porosity of the joint material in the ultrasonic transducer is 10% or more. Furthermore, variations of porosity in any region at a depth of 40 μm of the grooves are within ±15% with respect to the average porosity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
