Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve assembling accuracy and facilitate assembling work with a small number of part items.
CONSTITUTION: A front pillar, a side roof rail and a rear pillar are formed integrally into the same closed cross section structure by extrusion molding or the like, and an upper side rail 19 is formed by bending. In such a roof rail, the upper side rail 19 is provided with a rib 37 to be fitted to at least one member among a front roof rail 27 positioned near the upper wall of the upper side rail 19, a rear roof rail and a center pillar positioned near the lower wall of the upper side rail 19, and connection is performed by a fit-in insert part 51 and a fit-in receiving part.
