Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater plate bending apparatus which can smoothly perform an underwater plate bending process while reliably fixing an apparatus by a simple operation and structure.SOLUTION: The underwater plate bending apparatus for applying a plate bending process to an address plate 125 horizontally overhanging in a spent fuel storing pit 100A, in underwater, includes: a tool body 10 suspended from a spent fuel storing pit crane 101 and fixed to a rack cell 110 attached with the address plate, by a clamp mechanism 11; bending hardware 12 supported in a lower part on one side of the tool body so as to be rotatable in a vertical direction; a first stage fluid pressure cylinder 13 downwardly mounted in an upper part on one side of the tool body and bending downward the address plate 125 by the rotationally urging of the bending hardware; and an operation unit 16 for controlling the drive of the first stage fluid pressure cylinder from an operation floor 127 in a remote control manner.
