Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater ultrasonic communication device using OFDM modulation resistant to position fluctuation, by preventing deterioration of transmission performance incident to position fluctuation of a transmitter or a receiver.SOLUTION: An underwater ultrasonic communication device includes an analog/digital conversion unit for converting a received signal into a digital value at a sampling frequency, an extension and contraction ratio detector 32 for detecting the ratio of temporal extension and contraction of the received signal incident to position fluctuation between down conversion processing 31 and a transducer, a re-sampling unit performing re-sampling conversion of the received signal converted into a digital value according to the extension and contraction ratio, a derotation unit 33 for correcting a deviation of frequency generated by re-sampling conversion, and a Doppler shift detector 34 for detecting a Doppler shift amount by temporal change of some sub-carriers composing an OFDM signal (orthogonal frequency division multiplex). Accuracy of received signal is improved for position fluctuation between transceivers by performing Doppler correction of the OFDM signal based on the Doppler shift amount.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
