Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an available band determination device and a method that can switch a remote GUI control method according to an actual network environment.SOLUTION: A measuring device 10 comprises: a measuring unit 12 that generates a test signal to a test object 100 and measures an output signal from the test object 100 into which the test signal has been input; a display unit 13 for displaying display contents including a measurement result by the measuring unit 12; an input unit 15 for a user to perform input operation; and a communication unit 16 for communicating data with an external control device 30 via a network 110. At least part of the display contents of the display unit 13 and the input unit 15 are configured with GUI, and the data includes GUI image data. The measuring device 10 comprises: a bandwidth estimation unit 18 for estimating the bandwidth of a network 110 which the measuring device can use; and a transmission amount control unit 19 for controlling the transmission amount of data transmitted by the communication unit 16 on the basis of the estimated bandwidth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
