Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient electric blower which has achieved a diffuser for performing a favorable static pressure recovery and reduction in loss by reverse flow suppression into a space around a centrifugal impeller from the diffuser.SOLUTION: An electric blower includes: an electric motor; a centrifugal impeller coaxial with a rotary shaft of the electric motor; a diffuser having a partition plate between the electric motor and the centrifugal impeller, and comprising a plurality of diffuser vanes on the centrifugal impeller side of the partition plate; a return guide comprising a plurality of return guide vanes on the opposite side from the centrifugal impeller of the partition plate; and a fan casing for storing the centrifugal impeller. In the diffuser vane of the diffuser, the curvature radius passing a camber line defined by a central line in the thickness direction of the diffuser vane is larger in the diffuser vane front half part than that in the diffuser vane rear half part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
