Abstract:
To reduce noise and wear accompanying eccentric rotations of a planetary rotator.SOLUTION: A valve timing adjusting device 1 of a vehicular engine 100 includes: a driving side rotator 10 rotated by a crank shaft 101; a driven side rotator 20 integrally rotated with a cam shaft 102; a planetary rotator 30 equipped with a planetary gear portion 31 engaged with an inner gear portion 21 of the driven side rotator 20; an eccentric shaft 40 supporting the planetary rotator 30 so as to eccentrically rotate; an Oldham joint 50 that rotates and synchronizes the driving side rotator 10 and the planetary rotator 30; and an energizing member 44 that energizes the planetary rotator 30 outward in a radial direction through bearings 33 and 34. A pressing force takeout portion 60 takes out pressing force in a thrust direction from the energizing force of the energizing member 44 and applies it on the planetary rotator 30. The planetary rotator 30 presses an Oldham intermediate body 53 of the Oldham joint 50 to a housing 11 of the driving side rotator 10 with the pressing force in the thrust direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
