Abstract:
The motor changes magnetic field characteristic, by moving a stator (23) in axial direction from a reference position in which amount of overlap between one magnet active portion of stator and other magnet active portion of a rotor is largest. A stator-moving mechanism is constructed to move stator in axial direction, and provided with an annular rotating portion. The rotating portion is arranged on end portion or outer periphery of the stator. The stator is engaged to be moved in axial direction, when rotating portion is rotated. The motor has radial gap motor in which rotor and stator are provided. Two magnetic active portions are opposed to each other in radial direction. An independent claim is included for an electric car.
