Abstract:
An upper passage R6a is formed above a heating heat exchanger 4 located in an air conditioning casing 2, and a lower passage R6b is formed below the heating heat exchanger 4. A vent passage R4 for supplying conditioned air to the upper body of a vehicle occupant is formed on the upper side of the air conditioning casing 2. An auxiliary heater 5 is provided with a cool air blocking section 52a, 52b, 52d for preventing cool air which flows from the lower passage R6b toward the vent passage R4 from flowing toward the heating heat exchanger 4.
