Abstract:
To provide a vehicle air conditioning system capable of heating a vehicle interior with high energy efficiency while enhancing an engine warm-up process even in a case of a heating demand during a cold start of an engine.SOLUTION: A heat pipe system 101 of a vehicle air conditioning system 100 comprises: an evaporator 16 installed on an exhaust pipe 13; and a condenser 174 which can perform heat exchange with air. A cooling water heater system 102 of the vehicle air conditioning system 100 has: a heater core 173 where cooling water discharged from an engine 10 is introduced; and a cooling water valve 31 which is installed on piping 32 between the engine 10 and the heater core 173 and is capable of controlling a flow rate of the cooling water. In a case of a heating demand during a cold start of the engine 10, a controller of the vehicle air conditioning system 100 controls an opening of the cooling water valve 31 on the basis of a mutual relation between a demand heat quantity related to the heating demand and a supplied heat quantity available through heat exchange in the condenser 174.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
