Abstract:
A vehicle braking device which applies a braking force to the wheels of a vehicle by operating an electric device 31 that is supplied with power from an electricity storage unit 9, the present invention comprising: a hydraulic pressure generation device 2 which has a first piston 22 driven by a first driving force by the operation of the electric device 31 and a second driving force by the braking operation of a driver, a cylinder 21 having the first piston 22 slidably housed therein, and an output chamber 212 partitioned by the first piston 22 and the cylinder 21 and connected to wheel cylinders 51, 52; and a control unit 80 which executes limit control for limiting the amount of power or the amount of current to be supplied from the electricity storage unit 9 to the electric device 31 as the amount of power remaining in the electricity storage unit 9 decreases.
