Abstract:
To achieve both securing a negative pressure necessary for a brake booster and securing power necessary for automatic brake control.SOLUTION: In a control device for vehicle, a brake booster is added which boosts a brake pressing force by utilizing an intake negative pressure generated in the downstream of a throttle valve in an intake passage communicated with a cylinder of an internal combustion engine, and part of engine torque outputted by the internal combustion engine is supplied to a power generator to perform power generation. When automatic brake control is executed which automatically brakes the vehicle and adjusts the vehicle speed without an operator stepping on a brake pedal, the upper limit of the power generation amount by the power generator is raised, compared to the time when the automatic brake control is not executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
