Abstract:
To enable a prompt change to an appropriate engine temperature corresponding to a difference of a combustion form.SOLUTION: As a combustion form of an engine 1, one combustion form is selected from a plurality of preset combustion forms (for example, SI combustion and SPCCI combustion) in accordance with an operating state of the engine. A cooling device for a vehicle includes a grille shutter 60 of which opening can be controlled to change introduction amount of traveling air to a radiator 40 for cooling cooling-water of the engine 1. Change control of the opening of the grille shutter 60 is performed in accordance with the combustion form of the engine. By controlling the opening of the grille shutter 60, control can be also performed so that an actual cooling water temperature becomes a target cooling water temperature set in accordance with the combustion form. In addition to the opening control of the grille shutter 60, control can be performed so as to reach the target cooling water temperature by using an electric fan 50 provided relative to the radiator 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
