Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle information display device and vehicle information display method capable of correctly and rapidly recognizing vehicle information without allowing a driver of a vehicle who views displaying to be confused during changeover of a display form in a display section.SOLUTION: A vehicle information display device 1 includes: a display part 2 having a first display form and a second display form whose display area is smaller than that of the first display form; a changeover section 3 concerning a display form; and a display control section 4. The display control section 4 controls the display part 2 such that a display area of a main object is gradually enlarged so as to keep the shape of a main object to be the main of objects to be displayed on the display part 2 from the start of changeover from the second display form to the first display form, an information amount to be displayed on the display part 2 is gradually increased, the display area of the main object is gradually reduced so as to keep the shape of the main object from the start of changeover from the first display form to the second display form, and an amount of information to be displayed on the display part 2 is gradually reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
