Abstract:
To provide a lower body structure for a vehicle, which restricts deterioration of the support rigidity of a shift lever and, at the same time, obtains a storage space below the shift lever.SOLUTION: A lower body structure for a vehicle comprises: a floor panel 4 forming a floor surface for a vehicle chamber; a floor cross member 18 disposed so as to extend in a vehicle width direction above the floor panel 4; a console support bracket 40 supporting a console 70 disposed in a middle of the floor panel 4, and mounted on the floor cross member 18; and a shift lever support bracket 73 an upper part of which supports a shift lever 72 and a lower part of which is fixed to the console support bracket 40 in forward and backward directions. A point P at which the shift lever 72 is mounted on the shift lever support bracket 73 is offset toward vehicle front with respect to points α, β at which the shift lever support bracket 73 is fixed to the console support bracket 40. Rigidity of a front fixing portion α of the console support bracket 40 is rendered higher than that of a rear fixing portion β.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
