Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute preliminary air-conditioning control over a vehicle mounted with a solar battery stably and continuously while suppressing the costs needed for external charging from increasing.SOLUTION: An ECU executes control processing including: a step (S108) of calculating a power generation amount when an SOC of a solar battery is equal to or less than a threshold A (YES at S104) and a temperature is equal to or higher than a threshold Ta (YES at S106) while plug-in charging is in process (YES at S100) and preliminary air-conditioning control is effective (YES at S102); a step (S112) of stopping the plug-in charging when the calculated power generation amount is equal to or larger than a threshold B (YES at S110); a step (S114) of executing the preliminary air-conditioning control using the solar battery; and a step (S116) of continuing the plug-in charging when the power generation amount is smaller than the threshold B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
