Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle capable of being restrained from slipping down, while improving fuel economy.SOLUTION: A vehicle has the hill hold function of maintaining a braking force without reference to a brake stroke detected by a brake stroke sensor for detecting control input of a brake pedal for operating the braking force generated by a brake mechanism. When the vehicle is parked on a ramp (step S11), an engine is stopped (step S15) on condition that at least the hill hold function is in operation (step S13).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
