Abstract:
To satisfy a demand for electric power from all of a plurality of connected vehicles in a state where the plurality of vehicle are connected to each other, while suppressing wasteful fuel consumption.SOLUTION: A vehicle is configured to be electrically and physically connectable to the other vehicle. The vehicle and the other vehicle comprise rotary electrical machines, ancillary devices, communication devices and control devices, respectively. The vehicle and the other vehicle have, as control modes during stoppage of the vehicles, my room power generation modes respectively in which travelling is forbidden and the ancillary devices are allowed to be actuated by electric power generated by the rotary electrical machines using power of the engines. A control device of the vehicle, when electric power generation is requested in a state where the own vehicle in the my room power generation mode is electrically connected to the other vehicle in the my room power generation mode, selects at least one engine that is actuated for securing electric power satisfying a demand for electric power from the vehicles, out of the engine of the own vehicle and the engine of the other vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
