Abstract:
To keep a proper amount of oil around a drive pinion shaft.SOLUTION: A vehicle includes a differential gear which transmits driving force applied to a drive pinion gear to left and right side gears. The differential gear has: a drive pinion shaft 32 connected to the drive pinion gear; and a baffle part 80 which covers an outer peripheral surface of the drive pinion shaft 32 with a predetermined gap 102 provided between the baffle plate 80 and the outer peripheral surface of the drive pinion shaft 32. The baffle part 80 has: a cutout part 110 which allows communication between an interior and an exterior of the baffle part 80 over an axial direction in a part as seen in a circumferential direction; a flange part 112 extending in a tangential direction at an upper part side of the cutout part 110 as seen in a vertical direction; and an opening 114 which opens below the cutout part 110 in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
