Abstract:
A vertical washing machine, capable of effectively inhibiting vibration of a drum in a state that the drum for washing accommodating maintains a large capacity. The vertical washing machine of the present invention is equipped with: an outer tub disposed inside a casing; the drum disposed in the outer tub in a manner of rotating around a rotation shaft; an annular container (31) disposed in the drum for accommodating multiple rotation bodies (32a) and liquid; a motor for performing rotation driving on the drum; and a motor control part for controlling the motor. Regarding a first rotation body, i.e., rotation body (32A 1), and a second rotation body, i.e., rotation body (32A 2), which are adjacent to each other and incorporated in the multiple rotation bodies (32a) accommodated in the annular container (31), in a state that the rotation body (32A 1) is in contact with the rotation body (32A 2) in the annular container (31), in a top view, an angle between a first straight line (T A1) and a second straight line (T A2) is greater than three degrees, wherein the first straight line (T A1) is a straight line which is perpendicular to a straight line passing through the center (C 1) of the rotation body (32A 1) and the center (C 0) of the annular container (31) and passes through the center (C 1) of the rotation body (32A 1), and the second straight line (T A2) is a straight line which is perpendicular to a straight line passing through the center (C 2) of the rotation body (32A 2) and the center (C 0) of the annular container (31) and passes through the center (C 2) of the rotation body (32A 2).
