Abstract:
To provide aseismic base isolation and vibration control mechanism for structure which has higher degree of design freedom by taking advantage of the characteristic of a frame structure.SOLUTION: In place of a conventional aseismic base isolation and vibration control mechanism for structure, a displacement mechanism which has a pair of displacement places having predetermined rotary inertia mass, supported so as to oscillate and displacing in a predetermined direction when oscillating is fixed to a structure. A pair of left and right long members is stretched across a plurality of sheaves, and at least part between one end part and the other end part is stretched obliquely along an inclined direction of one or the other side between a pair of corner parts located on diagonal positions of a rigid-framed structure, and a zigzag is formed as a whole along a structure surface of the structure. One end part is connected to the structure and the other end part is connected to one or the other of the pair of displacement places of the displacement mechanism. When the structure deforms, a tensile force generates in the right side long member and the left side long member, and the pair of displacement places of the displacement mechanism displaces in a reciprocating manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
