Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which media communications are implemented in a bidirectional manner while connecting multiple devices only by a peer-to-peer communication between devices without interposing a server that relays the media communications, a method therefor, a device therefor and a program therefor.SOLUTION: An application server determines a screen layout corresponding to the number of participants in a video conference and a media transmission/reception flow through all devices that the participants use, and transmits the screen layout and the media transmission/reception flow to each of multiple devices. At least one device of the multiple devices uses a Web application that is received from the application server, to transmit a screen video image in which a video image received from a device that is located on a pre-stage of the device in the media transmission/reception flow, as a base layer and a video image generated by the device is superposed on an upper layer of the base layer in accordance with the screen layout, to a device that is located on a post-stage of the device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
