Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride resin composition for insulated wire coating which has high flame retardancy and further enhances abrasion resistance, and to provide a wire and a cable having an insulated coating containing the resin composition.SOLUTION: There are provided a vinyl chloride resin composition for insulated wire coating which contains 10 or more and less then 30 pts.mass of (B) an ethylene-(meth)acrylate-carbon monoxide copolymer, 0-20 pts.mass of (C) a plasticizer, and (D) 0.5-5 pts.mass of (D) an acrylic processing aid with respect to 100 pts.mass of (A) a vinyl chloride resin made of a vinyl chloride homopolymer and/or an ethylene-vinyl chloride copolymer; and a wire and a cable having an insulated coating containing the resin composition.SELECTED DRAWING: None
