Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for switching to backup.SOLUTION: A virtual machine management device executes virtual machines 115 and 125. The virtual machine management device comprises a first processing unit 106 which restarts the first virtual machine and starts the second virtual machine 125 which is a virtual machine for backup of the first virtual machine when a fault occurs in the first virtual machine 115, and a second processing unit 104 which performs setting so that the virtual machine to execute processing is switched from the first virtual machine to the second virtual machine when the processing by the first virtual machine does not normally resume.
