Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscous coupling which can easily seal a communication hole for making a fluid chamber communicate with the outside.SOLUTION: A viscous coupling comprises: an outer case 10 which rotates integrally with a flange yoke 120; an inner shaft 20 which rotates integrally with a drive pinion shaft 211, and forms a fluid chamber 91 into which a viscous fluid is filled between the outer case 10 and itself; a plurality of outer plates 30; a plurality of inner plates 40; and a cover 50. The outer case 10 comprises a front wall part 12 which seals the fluid chamber 91, and to which the flange yoke 120 is attached by bolts 140 at a front side. Screw holes 14A to 14D to which the bolts 140 are screwed, and communication holes 15A, 15C which extend from the screw holes 14A, 14C in an axial direction, and communicate with the fluid chamber 91 are formed at the front wall part 12, and screws 60 which are screwed to the communication holes 15A, 15C to seal the communication holes 15A, 15C are arranged at the front wall part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
