Title:
IR-SENSITIVE SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3150463
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a photographic material having high sensitivity and containing a silver halide emulsion which is spectrally sensitized for ≥700nm wavelengths.
CONSTITUTION: This photographic material contains a silver halide emulsion layer sensitized for ≥700nm wavelength light by an IR-sensitizing dye having the max. absorption in 700nm to 850nm region. The silver halide emulsion contains a cation-based red-sensitive dye having the max. absorption in 600 to 700nm region. The obtd. photographic material shows enhanced sensitivity in an IR region so that it can be used for a silver salt diffusion transfer method to produce a planographic printing plate.
